Faequa Khan is a first-generation immigrant and a first-generation college graduate. She has come to appreciate the American Dream in a unique way which shaped her life choices in both her work and personal decisions.

Faequa brings experience in real estate transactions, civil litigation, especially real property litigation, and probate in both state and federal court to this law firm. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies. While studying at UM, Faequa worked at a boutique real estate firm in Miami Lakes, FL. There, she gained experience in both residential and commercial real estate sales, though her focus was on first time home buyers. Recently, Faequa opened her own title insurance company to ensure her clients receive the best possible standard of care.

After UM, Faequa attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While pursuing her Juris Doctorate, she worked as a law clerk in an insurance defense firm in Gainesville, FL, which broadened her research and writing skills. She also interned with General Magistrate Susan Miller-Jones of the 8th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.

After graduating with her Juris Doctorate, Faequa began her legal career at a small boutique law firm in Coral Gables. She researched and wrote state appellate briefs and helped in real estate transactions. Prior to joining The Law Offices of Daryl L. Jones, P.A., Faequa was a fellow for the Honorable Paul C. Huck in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. In addition, she had the distinct honor of serving as President of the Florida Muslim Bar Association which seeks to provide diversity, equity, and inclusion training to fellow attorneys and judges.

Apart from her legal work, Faequa is also very involved in her community. She is a Leadership Florida Connect Class VII graduate. She volunteers with Junior League of Miami, an organization of women who give back to the community through projects focusing on women and children at risk. She served as the Junior League of Miami Chief Operating Officer. She also sits on the Corporate Board of HOBY South Florida (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership), an organization that develops leadership skills in high school students across south Florida.

Faequa is a Board Member on the Gulliver Schools Alumni Association, her high school. Her work on the Alumni Association allows her to share meaningful real-life perspectives with students. This is Faequa’s way of giving back to a school that gave her a scholarship and opened many doors for her and her immigrant family.

Faequa’s work ethic demands that she never give up, and she will always ensure you receive fair treatment under the law. Faequa always attempts to ensure her clients receive a solution that exceeds expectations.
